Suhasini is a graduate of 'Delhi School of Planning and Architecture' and she is one of the co-founders of the Auroville Centre for Scientific Research. She is head of the Auroville Design Consultants and has designed and implemented over 50 projects in India in the last twenty-five years. She was co-recipient of the Hassan Fathy Award for 'Architecture for the Poor' in 1992 and was also co-nominated for the Aga Khan Award in 1992. Moreover, she is the recipient of the Design Share Award for educational buildings in 2003 and 2005.
Hemant Vadalkar has served the industry for over three decades. Being a member of the technical committee of the Indian Society of Structural Engineers and Fellow of The Institution of Engineers, he regularly holds technical seminars and workshops for industry aspirants and professionals. Hemant has developed Engineering Analysis and Designed software programs. Apart from that, he also has several industry-relevant papers to his credit.
Yatin Pandya, is an author, activist, academician, researcher as well as practising architect, at his firm Footprints E.A.R.T.H. (Environment Architecture Research Technology Housing). Graduate of CEPT University, Ahmedabad, he has an M. Arch from McGill University, Montreal. Yatin has been involved with city planning, urban design, mass housing, architecture, interior design, product design as well as conservation projects. Environmental sustainability, socio-cultural appropriateness, timeless aesthetics and economic affordability are key principles of his work. Yatin has won over thirty-eight National and International awards for architectural design, research as well as dissemination. He has written over three hundred articles in National and International Journals and lectured in over fifteen countries.
Prasad Y.T.V.V. is a civil engineer and has a Postgraduate Degree in Business Administration. He has over 31 years of experience in the cement industry encompassing design, execution, quality and project management of industrial construction projects. He has worked in various capacities with The KCP Ltd., Larsen & Toubro Ltd. and he is currently with UltraTech Cement Ltd., heading the Technical Services Department in Marketing for West–A Zone.
Sanjay Prakash is an architect with a commitment towards energy-conscious architecture, eco-friendly design, people's participation in planning, music and production design. Over the years, he has integrated all his work with the practice of new urbanism and sustainability in his professional as well as personal life. He is the Principal Consultant of his design firm, SHiFt: Studio for Habitat Futures, was a partner of Daat and Studio Plus, and is currently Co-Founder of the Future Institute, a not-for-profit, multi-disciplinary applied-research platform.
With an MSc in Conservation from Herriot Watt University, Edinburgh Chetan has successfully restored and renovated over twenty-five old prestigious heritage and archaeological buildings in India. Apart from that, he has developed the first material testing laboratory in the private sector and his team on wheels is equipped to reach any remote site in India and perform all field tests.
Tejas is a Civil Engineer and a member of Hunnarshala's core team. He has a passion for research and technology and currently, as an Executive Director, he leads the Artisan Empowerment Division that is instrumental in promoting Earth-based construction techniques. Tejas has played an important role in encouraging and inspiring building artisans to take the path of entrepreneurship. Over the years, approximately 10 artisan entrepreneur companies have been formed under the guidance of the company that provide services to the contemporary market for promoting sustainable building practices.
Dr. Kalgal has spent more than 20 years in teaching, research and consultancy. With a Ph. D (Structural IISc.) and M. E. (Pre-stressed Concrete), he has been head of the technical division of pre-stressing company BBR (I), and thereafter joined UltraTech Cement Ltd., as Head, Building Products Division. He served as Joint President and Head, Technical Services, and is presently Technical Advisor at UltraTech. He is the AICTE-INAE Distinguished Visiting Professor to BMSCE. Dr. Kalgal is involved in several professional bodies like VP (South) of IAStructE and Secretary General of ACCE (I), and has also been Vice President of Asian Concrete Federation from 2017 to 2019.
Ar. Shirish Beri's works, which are a clear reflection of his values, have been bearing their distinct mark on modern Indian architecture since 1975. They strive to address his life concerns of man moving further away from nature, from his fellow human beings and from his own self. His designs try to achieve an inherent sense of unity and harmony with various natural and man-made elements to become as sustainable as possible. He has designed a number of campuses for National and Regional institutions for research, rehabilitation, health care and education, along with various other types of buildings. His works have been widely published in over 150 publications in India and abroad.
B. L. Manjunath brings over twenty-five years of experience in structural engineering design, construction and management to his work. His experience includes design and detailing using specialised techniques for a wide variety of projects. His vision for the role of engineering in design and of design in engineering is shaped by humanistic rather than simply technical principles.
Madhavi Desai is an architect, researcher, writer and teacher based in Ahmedabad. She has an M. Arch from the University of Texas and has been a partner at ARCHICRAFTS since 1981. She was also an adjunct faculty at CEPT University, Ahmedabad (1986-2018). In addition, Madhavi has had Research Fellowships at ICSSR, New Delhi, and the Aga Khan Program for Islamic Architecture at MIT, USA, SARAI, New Delhi and the Getty Foundation, USA. She is a founder member of Women Architects Forum and editor, author and co-author of 6 books on Indian architecture.

While at UltraTech Cement Ltd, he has led many construction industry initiatives, such as the promotion of concrete roads and mass housing projects with alternate technologies. Associated with many statutory bodies, Dr. Ramachandra is a distinguished professor with in-depth technical knowledge.
